Well, i was told by Telerik back in September no dice,,,

http://www.telerik.com/community/foru...

I'm guessing this is still the case.

Why can't someone from DNN just come right out and say? It was asked days ago by interested members,,,

hm, I am not sure, whether the menu provider has been extended or there is a workaround for the templating restriction. Unfortunately due to Dev Connections, most DNN experts are out of reach this week.

Cheers from Germany,

Robert, From the comments on the blog... "@Tim Johnston - We used DNN's Content Staging from Enterprise Edition. @Jeffrey Lyon - The main 'mega menu' is using this skin object: dnnradmenu.codeplex.com. @Mark Langille - The side menu is this skin object: dnnradpanelbar.codeplex.com." http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryId/2847/Extreme-Makeover-DotNetNuke-Style.aspx

As Will mentioned, the main menu is using the dnnradmenu skin object on CodePlex. Since the redesign launched I had to make sure things were OK on the site and then headed out to Vegas (for DevConnections). Because of this, I have not had time to get the updated skin object in CodePlex and released. That said, what Telerik originally stated still holds true. What we have today is a not a hack but it certainly isn't something that would work for the masses at this time (it needs some tweaks). When I get back home I will be able to get this updated on CodePlex for use now but today in Shaun's Keynote here he mentioned mega-menu support/options for 2011.

You can also look at the menu provider Brandon Haynes did a while back that utilizes the DNN Nav menu, here: http://dnntemplatedmenu.codeplex.com/
