if I add the login module i. its just login not register.  There is no registrasion.aspx  I didn't delete anything.  What I did was create a new page called register then in the admin / site settings  point the regisitration page to register when I didn't like that , I wanted to set it back to default so in the admin / site settings registration page to none .

but it still points to register even though the site settings have been changed

restarting the app did not help - its still thinks the registration page is the custom registraton page even though in site settings I've said the registration page is none.

Just want the default registration - obviously DNN has written to sql the register page and setting to none is having no effect. its not in portal settings. So im stumped.

If you log in as HOST and then go into Admin --> Site Settings --> Advanced Settings is the Registration page set to or the Custom page?
Please verify your "Page Management" setup is as below:

Yes its set to NONE . 
But setting it to none is not working,  it still shows the custom registration. I you can tell me what that modifies I'll fix it manually
