Did you make sure having .Net framework 3.5 SP1 installed? some DNN versions do require MS AJAX 1.0 as well.

Cheers from Germany,

Hi Ken, The error message was Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials. Earlier versions we used are: 4.0 / 4.9 We had a mysterious problem that did not make sense at all and we could not figure it out. We tried to do it as a New Web Site and assigned minimum required permissions to maximum (not needed) permissions. We tried manual and auto (Web PI) installation. But nothing could change the Access is denied problem. Finally, we did it as a virtual directory under an existing website (for which we'll be using this) - and it was successful. We'll be contacting you if needed again, but I don't think thats a possibility for the current project. Thanks for your time, Ken. Have a good one.
