I have a site running on 5.5.1 with RADeditor 1.1.2 everything is working fine with the exception of my document manager... when I try to upload PDF documents to my site (they are less than 1MB each and do not have spaces or specials chars in the name) I get the following error:

DotNetNuke Error

Error An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> System.Web.HttpUnhandledException: Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> System.Web.HttpException: Maximum request length exceeded. at System.Web.HttpRequest.GetEntireRawContent() at System.Web.HttpRequest.GetMultipartContent() at System.Web.HttpRequest.FillInFormCollection() at System.Web.HttpRequest.get_Form() at System.Web.HttpRequest.get_HasForm() at System.Web.UI.Page.GetCollectionBasedOnMethod(Boolean dontReturnNull) at System.Web.UI.Page.DeterminePostBackMode() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Web.UI.Page.HandleError(Exception e) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequest(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequest() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestWithNoAssert(HttpContext context) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) at ASP.desktopmodules_dnnwerk_radeditorprovider_dialoghandler_aspx.ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) at System.Web.HttpApplication.CallHandlerExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Anyone know why this is happening? I have not seen this happen before so I am lost... the other odd thing is after this occours I have to celar my cache because if I open up the document manager again this error automatically shows up.

Thanks for any help.

I have the same set-up on multiple instances and have no problem. What is your web.config upload max?

Where is the line I need to look at... I tend to not touch most of the webcongif file is I don't need to. I do see this line:

<add name="RadUploadModule" type="Telerik.Web.UI.RadUploadHttpModule, Telerik.Web.UI" />

In the RADeditor I pushed my max fuile size to 4MB... these files I am uploading are below 400K each. Odd.

If you did not alter your web.config, them it's likely not the issue, but the like should look like the one below:

<httpRuntime useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true" maxRequestLength="8192" requestLengthDiskThreshold="8192" />

Mine looks like that... I have not messed with the web config file at all.
