Hi All,

After unzipping the DotNetNuke from this file: DotNetNuke_Community_05.05.01_Install and setup IIS withinin Windows 7 Ultimate I got the below error when running http://LocalHost/DotNetNuke. I checked the security of the DefaultAppPool and gave it full control and still getting the below error.

Please let me know how that can be resolved.

please make sure running on ASP.Net 3.5.1 in integrated mode (App pool set to .net 2.0) which authentication methods did you configure?

Hello Sebastian ,

Thanks for your reply.
The problem was that in the IIS under Windows 7.5,  the ASP part was not installed. After adding the other missing parts all went fine.

I appreciate your feedback.
