Which language are you running your web site and server? there has been an error reported on codeplex, which might be caused by a non-US locale.

Just the standard US English, I've not loaded any others. Bartlomiej is looking at it for me now.
Hopefully he can tell us all what it was if he manages to fix it, it's beyond me. Thanks for the suggestions, Bart's looked at the site log, I'm leaving it to him now and crossing my fingers and toes...

I tried installing Chat module while Bart's working to fix the forum. Big mistake - the site went down - the module installation failed. Bart fixed it (deleted the chat folder), but I am now very concerned about the Chat module doing this.

Chat module is known to fail on DNN 5.4.0 and above, Matthias is currently working on a fixed version.
