I moved the clients site from my dev box to another server and I followed steps and it worked fine.  Now I moved it to their production box and it has not worked.  I did the following:
1.Backed up sql server
2.went to production and created a new sql db and then restored from backup done in step 1
3.Created a user that is dbowner of new db
4.Copied the entire dnn site from the dev server and then copied up to their production server.
5.updated the web.config with sql connection properties.  Their sql server is on same machine(of course not best way, but anyway......)
6. I connect into sql through windows authentication, but did create a user
7.updated portal alias to new url
when I go site it says it is under construction
when I go to the install url for doing and install ->

ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider

please make sure the login account for sql server is mapped to the database user you created before (or in your new sql server user account, assign database usage with dbowner permission.

PS: you need to have TCP/IP protocol installed for SQL server and client as well.
