I am new to DotNetNuke so this may be a stupid quesiton... Since ASP.Net 2.0 does not require IIS for development, I was wondering if DotNetNuke 4.x does?  Basically, I am trying to decide if I should start with 3.2 or start with 4.x and I have one machine running WinXP Home with all the VS 2005 express and SQLExpress installed already.  ASP.Net 2.0 uses it's "own" webserver and I can develop without IIS, but, I would like to use DotNetNuke.  Any insight would be appreciated...

Thanks...

if you want to develop with VWD 2005 and SQL 2005 Express you have to use DNN 4 Starter Kit. Read the intructions here for further details.

Excellent!  That is what I was looking for.  Thank you!  I will install it today...

Now I can start looking into DotNetNuke hosting service providers...
