Hi,

I have user control containing update panel when I navigate from that user control to other user control (doesn't contain any update panel)  there's an jquery exception occured on client-side "Microsoft JScript runtime error: 'undefined' is null or not an object".  I'm using jquery-1.4.2.min.js and dnn version 4.8.2.

I have debug the server-side code and found that Protected Overrides Sub Render(ByVal writer As System.Web.UI.HtmlTextWriter) function of PageBase.vb file of dnn when it removes AJAX Script Manager and render the output then at no where it gives the above error.

Any info will be helpful.

What about upgrading to at least dnn 4.9.5. first? Beside that older versions are missing important security fixes, this version also provides basic support for JQuery.

FYI 4.8.2 contains a criticial security issue that is being actively exploited - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/News/SecurityPolicy/SecurityBulletinno17/tabid/1162/Default.aspx .Please upgrade to something more recent first.
