Today's question is:

Can anyone tell me how I set the visibility default values, and if I can adjust values for a user.

For example. I have set 'Region' as a mandatory field. I want this to show automatically i the forum, but of course users can hide it if they want to.
I've tried looking for a central visibility setting for Profile Properties, can't see it.

I have one particular user who has a Region selected, and says she has visibility set to 'All' but it's still not showing. Others are. I can't go i and check her setting.

you may set default visibility for all user profile options in Admin :: Users, User Settings, but unfortunately there is no default per property. you may enter a feature request into the issue tracker at support.dotnetnuke.com.

Thanks Sebastian. I found a visibility setting call 'default profile visibility mode'. Is this the setting? It's set to 2, but I don't know what this relates to.

I've just tried typing in 'Members Only' over ;2' (as per the DNN manual) and I broke the site.... darn. I need to know how to reset this manually via FTP now!

Fixed, I managed to log in as another Superuser (my admin and Superuser didn't work) and reset the setting to 2.

Who can tell me what the 2 is?
What other integers can go in, and what will they do?
