Hi all,

I am just setting out developing a new site and have got a new skin setup. However I can not find a way to remove the login button from the menu bar.At present I don't wan't the login button visable at all as the site is going to be for information only at the moment. Later down the line when I develop a new skin for the site and it goes in to a more live state I will re-enable logins. But for now I can't figure out how to remove this button.

Can any one help me. I am using DNN 5.5.1.

Thanks

you just need to remove the login skin object from you skin e.g. if you look at \Portals\_default\Skins\MinimalExtropy the index.ascx is the default skin in 5.5.1, you could remove - or else remove the [LOGIN] from the htm and reparse the skin
