I am configured the Authentication Settings but I am not getting the below messages that I should get.

Accessing Global Catalog:
OK
Checking Root Domain:
OK
Accessing LDAP:
OK

Can any one please say me how to do the AD seetings. I have sql express, DotNetNuke Professional Edition (05.05.01 (22)). This is my development machine which is XP.

You may have to use impersonation in your web.config. Check out the documentation for the provider... http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ExtensionsForge/ProviderAuthentication/tabid/840/Default.aspx

Hi Mike Thanks for ur reply. I have tried to configure in the web.config for After that I have changed in the windowssignin.aspx. But still i am not able to configure it is showing error. Can you configure what is the default domain and root domain.

Yes you can. I wouldn't worry about the Default Domain at this point as it doesn't have anything to do the actual connection to the AD. For the root domain you enter the qualified name for it. I.E if you AD is called Sahoo.com then you'd enter it as dc=Sahoo; dc=com.
