I have DNN 4.0.3 installed running Windows 2003 Server RC2, IIS6, SQL2000sp4 on VMware ESX server. I have the virtual machine configured with 2 gig of RAM, which I think is quite a bit for a web portal with 15 gig of disk space. I can access the site but once I login as administrator to try and configure the portal nothing happens. I can click on anything but nothing happens.

Has anyone else configured DNN using a virtual machine?  Would I be better off using DNN 3 or installing Server 2003 sp1 and maybe try my luck with SQL 2005? Is there a secret to optimize the site?  I have looked at logs but nothing is popping out at me for a solution.

I want to replace our static manual intranet webpage with DNN which would really help the information be more dynamic and give a reason for the associates in our company to visit our webpage more often.  My biggest concern is the performance the guest will experience.

Any help or comments welcomed.  Thanks!

Is it possibly a problem with your version of Win2k3 being Release Candidate 2?

My bad I am running Windows Server R2. I did find my problem and it was with javascript being blocked. I added my site to the trusted zones and now everything appears to be working correctly.

Sweeeeeet!
