How can I set all of the pages in one of my portals to:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow" />

Try adding the following code in the skin for that portal:

<script runat="server">
    Private Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load
            Dim descriptionHtmlMeta As New HtmlMeta()
            descriptionHtmlMeta.Name = "robots"
            descriptionHtmlMeta.Content = "noindex"
            Page.Header.Controls.Add(descriptionHtmlMeta)
    End Sub
</script>

Thanks, Mike

I added the code you suggested.  It added the following at the end of the line with all the meta items.

<meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" /><title>

The following was generated prior to adding your code.  It is still there after adding your code.  Is there a way to remove this?  What happens if both are in the page?  Which will the robot follow?

<meta id="MetaRobots" name="ROBOTS" content="INDEX, FOLLOW" /><meta name="REVISIT-AFTER" content="1 DAYS" />

Also, does case matter?  I added lower case and DNN was generating upper case.

Bart
