I have just installed DNN Community version 05.05.01 to a new hosting account through Godaddy for a customer of mine who is wanting to learn DNN (persuaded by me). I have been using previous version of the Community version of DNN with very few problems speaking from a lamens standpoint ( I have bult nine sites in the last few years using DNN. I have several issues with this new DNN vesion. I am very limited from a knowledge standpoint I but have been able to get through the basics of building a simple site. PROBLEM!  My new 05.05.01 site menu under the edit content for an htlml module has limited options. I can no loner justify text or change text color/font style by just clicking the button on the menu. I canot link to a file in my database either. What do I need to do to reinstate the menu options I hade in previous versions of DNN under the edit content oftion for a html module. Are the new versions of the Community version being stripped of certain features? Somebody please give me some advice. I am getting ready to abandon my efforts with this new DNN version and help my client build a basic basic html site using Dreamweaver. I have always love using DotNetNuke in the past and have been a huge fan and supporter. Again, I am a web developer with limited DNN knowledge.

Thanks

Are you perhaps in BASIC TEXT mode instead of the RICH TEXT mode? DNN hasn't removed features from the Community version of DNN.

Also please make sure, you are using "edit content" link and not the popup inline editor, when hovering the content in view mode, which has just some basic formatting options for quick corrections.

I am using Rich Text Mode. Thanks for the help. let me know if you have any other ideas. This thing is perplexing. I tried to see if their was something under host settings that would effect the edit menu but could not find anything.

I am using the edit content link to open up the editor and I still have the same problem. I wondering if their is something in the hosting tab that would allow me to change the menu options in the editor?  In my previose version of DNN my edit options where as extensive as the editor on this site. Thanks for the help
