this is even wors than having an error.. coz you can fix it... now it;s too late for me to try something new...I'll just ask your ideas what can it be.
uploaded install version of 05.06 new place new database
first it was saying it can't find the database, then I have opened my other webconfig onthe same hosting that worked and saw that it goes something  like this

<connectionStrings>
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005/2008 Express -->
    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=174.142.46.xx;Initial Catalog=traxxxx;User ID=traxxxx;Password=traxxxxxxam" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005/2008
    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="value="Server=174.142.46.xx;Database=traxxxxx;uid=tdreal;pwd=traxxxxxxxam;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
    -->
  </connectionStrings>
  <appSettings>
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005/2008 Express - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules   -->
    <add key="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=174.142.46.xx;Initial Catalog=traxxxx;User ID=traxxxx;Password=traxxxxxxam" />
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005/2008 - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules
    <add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=174.142.46.xx;Database=traxxxx;Uid=traxxx;Password=traxxxxxxam"/>
    -->

so I did the new install's web.config in the sme manner, since everything was the same apart fromthe names of the db  and it's username...
now the problem is when I go to istall NOTHING happends.. just nothing it's waiting for the site to respond or something... but no action is going on...it's strange and first time for me.
any ideas?

if you move your site you need to take care of 3 things: 1. make sure, new domain address is assigned to the site as portal alias, either via UI prior to the move or directly in the database, table portalAlias 2. make sure, BOTH connection strings in your web.config file correctly address the database 3. take care that the windows account used by ASP.Net worker process (as specified in IIS App Pool) has been granted full file system permissions for the DNN directory and all files and subdirectories in it.

install.aspx is blank by default, you may trigger an upgrade by calling /install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade
