I just moved my dnn-website from one server to another.I simply copied all the files and the database from one location to another and so the site appears as it should but do not functions like the original and do not let me do a lot of things. Since I didn't have to reinstall the dnn framework, I guess I'm missing some permission/security related step in the configuration of the website, because now when I load the pages in my browser, for a few .gifs and .jepgs, I see "403 forbidden" error,  when inspecting with firebug;but not for other images and files, and so the appearance of the site is exactly as it should be. To me it, appeared like a permission problem, so I enabled "execute scripts" on the virtual directory from IIS, but still the problem persists. Also, when I try to delete an already existing pages, I cannot,  and get the error message saying "forbidden. you do not have permission to access .../default.aspx" .

I'm using IIS7 on windows vista!!!

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!

make sure, anonymous web users have read access and ASP.Net process has full permission for the folder of the DNN installation.

thanks sebastian, but the anonymous access is already enabled and also the asp.net process has full control. And let me remind you that...only a few files of the /images folder shows the error...and that is what actually is causing a headache for me!!!

check the files, they may still have the "block" flag for being downloaded from the internet
