Hello, everyone. I'm a beginer and have been with the installation of DotNetNuke for several days. Here are some problems I met during the installation:

DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count.

At first, the error was "Can't find stored procedure dbo.GetPortalsAliasPortalID". I looked up the installation guide, but found puzzled with the solution.

Would you please give me some advice to fix the problem?

Thanks a lot!

Michael, thank you for your kind-hearted help.

But I find that I can log on to the SQL Server with the username and password as configured in the web.config file.

I'll read the installation guide carefully again. And could you please offer me some more advice?

Thanks again!

Try deleting and re-creating the DB and file structure from scratch. This may be due to multiple, failed installs.
