I upgraded a site from 5.5.1 to 5.6.0. The upgrade trace showed no errors. At the end of the upgrade, when I click on the "Click here to access your Portal" link, it shows another upgrade page, this time with just a summary of a successful upgrade. Sample below. I checked the version table in the DB and it still shows 5.5.1 as the version, which is consistent with the message.

Anyone come across this and has a fix?

most likely the upgraded version does not get persisted in versions table. did you try to restart the application (e.g. by re-saving web.config file)?

Rolled back the upgrade, did it again, and everything worked ok. I suspect a SQL script got lost during the upload the first time round, so didn't get installed.
