I just installed DNN Community, and noticed that there is no foreign key between TabPermission and Roles on RoleId. Is this the  way it is supposed to be? There is a FK between TabPermssion and users on UserId.

yes, there should be same FK constraint - and ideally a contraint that eiterh RoleID or UserID must be null.

I'm working with a fresh install of DNN Community. I went through all the SqlDataProvider scripts, and I cannot find anything that creates this constraint. Could it be a bug?

Okay, I see why. It's the -1 and -2 role IDs.

Andrew,

There should be an FK_TabPermission_Users key on the TabPermissions table. I have both an ERD and SQL Specs for 5.6.0 (and all other versions) available here if you think it would help you out.
