.modSecurityC should be the class assigned to the security module, making sure that only textareas within the Security module (Registration, user accounts, roles) is affected. Which DNN version are you using?

Hi Sebastian

DNN v.5.6.0

In another DNN, v5.5.1, all controls render 'class=NormalTextBox'.

I tried put style in PageHeadText (yes, I know, UUUGGHHH!! =) ), and work here:
domain/UserProfile/tabid/43/userId/1/Default.aspx (initial profile page)

but dont appears here:
domain/UserProfile/tabid/43/ctl/Profile/userId/1/pageno/3/Default.aspx (fields profile page)

Hugs

Hi Sebastian

After manys test, I can do only this:

textarea[name='dnn$ctr$ManageUsers$Profile$ProfileProperties$ctl11$Biography']
{
background-color: yellow;
}

Chrome = ok, IE9 = ok, IE9 + compatibility mode = nothing.

=/

The REAL solution is create new detail fields in property definition:
- Name, DataType, Category, Length, DefaultValue, RegExp.... already exists
* custom css style, onfocus/onblur/on... javascript events... create

What you think?

Hugs

you should be able to address the control using CSS, of course, like all web designers - you may struggle with IE6 and 7 compatibility. As long as you can identify the datatype and single profile property control, I don't see much need for further CSS properties. I would, however, welcome an optional settings screen, which might be provided by the control, to store e.g. upload folder, textarea dimensions etc.
