PHP doesn't help with DNN at all, Javascript is used on the client only - and you are looking for server side logic.

Server side would be the prefered solution ... but if server doesn't provide this seems to be a smart solution for the task. The query string should be the same. ;-)

Yes it looks as though the javascript version works best here. Unfortunate to see DNN lacking here.

Creative workaround. But be aware that it's totally vulnerable to SQL injection attack.
