Hello

I'm trying to get my current website in localhost  to work on it.

I'm in  5.2.2 and when i try to launch the ddn in localhost i get the following error:


Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

what has been changed before this showed up the first time? did you try restart the application (e.g. by saving web.config file)?

no changes appened. With my restart, i work a little. No exception but i'm redirect on DotNetNuke Installation Wizard Bdd unavailable ? Why am i redirected on the install wizard ? the web.config has the right connectionstring ...

Now it work (a little) with the restart by the web.config saving.

i'm now redirected on DotNetNuke Installation Wizard.

Why ? could the link between the bdd and the ddn broken ? connectionstring are ok ...

By curiosity, 'ive proceed the installation in dnn installer and it appear, connection test just fail ... connection strings are ok but error message : Connection Error(s): Index #: 0 Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider Class: 11 Number: 4060 Message: Cannot open database "Availpro.CorporateWebSiteLocal" requested by the login. The login failed. Index #: 1 Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider Class: 14 Number: 18456 Message: Login failed for user 'SirionaASP'. thats why i'm redirected on the InstallWizard of DDN . What could i Do ?
