The title of my post should be User cannot update events that their ID is assigned to, but here is the back story.

I had a need to reasign all Events currently assigned to UserA to UserB.
I made changes in the EventsRecurMaster and Events tables.
In EventsRecurmaster I changed OwnerID, CreatedByID, UpdatedByID
In Events I changed CreatedByID, LastUpdatedID, OwnerID
There were no signups, subscriptions, notifications for these events.

When logged in we see the new UserB as the owner of these events, but UserB can only edit "NEW" events that they create and none of the old ones?  What have I missed here?
Thanks...

Have you made sure you have cleared the cache, since you made a back-end update?

I just tried this on my dev environment. In theory for single events, you should be able to change just the OwnerID on the Events, but for a test I changed the CreatedByID and the OwnerID on the Events table. I also made sure my new user (User B) was an editor for my events module. As soon as I reffeshed the browser (Ctril+F5) I could see that User B had edit access to the event  (I have the edit button visible in list mode, and edit button appeared for the event I had edited.

Cheers
Roger
