I need to recreated this section in DNN http://rwglaw.com/attorneys/index.aspx.  I could do it by hand but can anyone speak to a module that would do the same with user accounts?

Requirements:
  • expanded bio including image, education and practice area section
  • "vanity" URLs
  • only shows users from selected roles.
  • Ability to echo the role (shareholder, Attourney, Of Council etc.)
  • in the content
Niceites:
  • Ablitiy to automatically assign to business group
  • Ablitiy to connect profile to published articles
  • Custom contact form.

Effority User Directory (http://userdirectory.codeplex.com/) may be a good starting point, but AFAIK does not include vanity URLs and maybe echoing roles. I suggest contacting Benjamin about this.

SO CLOSE, yet, no good.

It appears this projects hasn't been updated since 2008 so it doesn't use (apparently) new user profile code.  I have been able to get the vanity URLs but after manually creating the list.

URL Master by Ifinity has vanity URL settings.  They didn't work for this specific client but it would be great for a site with less particular display names needs.  (User profiles choke on period characters such as Lance E. Long)
