I am getting an invalid URL when trying to post a resource url using an intranet site with no "www" in front of it. Is this a regular expression validation that can be edited somewhere in the module or in the portal that can take the url without the www in it?

please make sure, this site address has been assigned as additional host header in IP binding of your IIS web site and the name server is routing it to your web server machine.

Justin ~  If you're getting back to the DotNetNuke website, then IIS / DNS is probably set correctly.  But you might need to ensure that the non "www" url is in the portal alias table.  You also mentioned "resource"... are you directing to a page or to something else?  If it's a resource extension, it might to be configured  in IIS.

Thanks, I will check those, as far as the resource goes, it's not a resx file. I was using the repository module with the reposiroty skin/template titled "directory"

When you go to upload a new item to the repository, it asks you to populate the title, then Resource URL (basically the URL of the item you want to add to the repository.) If I use a URL without the www. on the front of it when I click the upload button I get an error of:
You did not enter a valid URL, URLs must start with either http, https, ftp or gopher

I'm not sure why it was moved from the repository module forum, as I can use the url in other modules such as iframe and others. It's only in the repository module I get the error and can't use the URL.
