Gents,
I am a bit stuck on this one....

I have created parent and child forums to get around the removal of the expanding groups. It all works just fine and I like it. The problem I have with one group is that I seem not to be able to put the new forums under the parent forum. The name of the parent forum simply does not appear in the drop down box. I only have this problem in ONE group. All other groups seem to work as I expect them to. It is a strange one and I wondered if there was something that was done when setting up the group or the forum so that this happens. It is this group here if you want to look.

All ideas/comments much appreciated.

Best Regards Peter

I am not sure, but could it be that the old Forum template makes some problems?  I think the old template could missing some of the behaviors the new Forum supports. Have you tried it with the default template?  Dis you use the last Forum version 05.00.00 ?

I am not sure if this is your problem or not, but a Parent forum cannot contain any posts. The idea of a parent forum is an empty forum that has 1 to many children and the children hold all post content. For example, here we have a Module forum that has multiple child forums which contain posts (like this one, forum).
