Being new to DNN I want to setup my projects according to best practices.   I noticed the iFrame module put code in <app root>\App_Code\iFrame.  Should my module code be located in <app root>\App_Code\<my module>?

it depends on what model of development you're using. The app_code folders are used for WSP , the wiki has a page on this @ http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/tabid/1409/Page/DotNetNuke-5-Hello-World/Default.aspx . Many people also used the WAP model - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/tabid/1409/Page/development-environment/Default.aspx

Hi Cathal, I am using WAP and looked at the links but didn't see any best practices about where to locate code.

Hi Chris, I've done that, read your blog and have watched your video. Its all very helpful and I thank you for the effort. I have it working but was curious as to why there was an APP_Code folder and how I would reference it in my code.  Am I correct in assuming for WAP paradigm that folder is not needed or used?
