Hi Gilles,

When I use the order page in "Store Admin" to filter by orders awaiting payment, the "Cancel" link does not appear to work.  However, I can cancel the order without an issue when I click on the "Details" link to access the order detail page.

Also, I noticed that the "Cancel" link does not appear in the order listing when filtering by "Customers". You might want to make the display consistent between the "Customers" and "Order Status" filters.  Personally, I don't have problem removing the cancel link from the order status.

These are minor issues but I just wanted to pass them along.

Thanks.

Don

Hi Don,

Thanks for reports! :-)
Following the same steps (Store Admin > Orders > Filtering by status) I can cancel an order without any problems!?
I will look at the cancel link when filtering by customer.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles,

I just confirmed the cancel link in Store Admin >> Orders is not working for me. I did several tests with the same result:

TEST #1
I setup the followiing test environent on my production server (I can give you access to this test site if you want it):

DNN Version: 5.5.1 Community (fresh copy using new install)
Store Version. 2.1.48 (fresh copy using new install)
Browser: IE 8.0
Page - Store: Contains Catalog, Store Menu, Mini Cart (registered users only)
Page - My Account: Contain My Account (registered users only)
Page - Store Admin: Contains Store Admin (Administrator access only)

I documented the following steps:

1. I purchased an item under a username (provider is email); I then logged off
2. I logged in as administrator and did the following:
- clicked on "Store Admin" menu
- clicked on "Orders" menu
- filtered "Order Status" by awaiting payment
- selected the order; clicked on "Cancel" link

The page refreshed but the "Status" remains "Awaiting Payment".

Test #2
Performed the same test as #1 using Firefox 3.0.19. Same result as test #1

Test #3
To eliminate desktop issues, I logged directly into my production server and performed test #1 using the IE8 browser on my server. The result was the same.

Not sure what is happening. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Don

Hi Don,

I got it, it's a bug! It works only when the setting 'Authorize Cancel' is checked.

Gilles,

Sorry, I was offline a few days due to the holidays. I am glad you found the bug. Great detective work and thanks for being persistent to chase it down.
