Hi,

I downloaded DNN 5.6.0 source and opened it in Visual Studio 2010.

Straight away there were a large quantity of build errors (see table below).

I checked the forum and quickly found Sebastian Leupold's post which has the subject: RE: DNN 5.6.0 CE & PE Error Free Clean Build.

However as you can see my build errors were entirely different.

I'm downloading the previous release of dnn (5.4) -maybe I'll have better luck!

Any suggestions on getting 5.6.0 or is a lost cause?

This was my error. I did not follow the instructions to create a web.config in the web folder which is based on the development.config.
