Hi, I'm moving Forums (3 forums) and portal users (125000+) from "Site A" to "Site B" (Different websites and different databases)

Can anyone advise how to migrate forums and users data from one site to another?
What specific table data should I move to the new site?

Thank you,
Saleem

Hi Saleem.
Is it two DNN sites, or DNN is only source site?
Is source forum, is a DNN Forum? What version?
Is in destination forum already are some posts, some users?

In the most optimistic case you can only move some tables (Users, and tables like 'Forum_%').
But I think that this will not bypass without writing custom SQL scripts.

there are module for export/import, e.g. BulkUserImport from PHD (see Snowcovered.com), but for forum, I am not aware about an existing module. you will need to deal with all "Forum_" tables and adjust the user ID according to the user import.
