I have a serious and irritating problem with the setting 'Display Module On All Pages?'

When I decide to enable the ads module 'Display Module On All Pages?', it does it correctly.
From that moment on, each new page will have first 2 or 3 copies of the ads module, now it goes into more then 30 versions.
What ever I do, can't get rid of it. 

Anyone any idea how to switch this off?

I use version 5.6 and indeed, content localization is switched on

I am having this same problem running DNN 5.6.3. i removed the checkbox from Enable Content Localization under the Host Settings page but i am still getting the many duplicate modules. is there anything else i need to do?

i have a text/html module from the home page that has the setting to Display Module on All Pages and now when i add a new page it has the text/html module displayed 6 times on the new page in the same content pane.

This just started acting up about 2 weeks ago for now reason. When i built the site, i did not have any problems and now every page that is added is getting multiple modules.

I have another site that also just started experiencing the same problem.

This is crazy. I have read through several other posts that talk about emptying the recycle bin but that has not helped either.

One more thing.....this was not a situation of removing / adding the Display Module on All Pages repeatedly.

Any help would be great. I am pulling my hair out!
