I installed the Feedback module as a test and posted a test comment.  Now i want to use the module, i go to comment moderation and choose delete, it refreshes but the comment is still there.  How i can delete these comments?

I just upgraded to DNN 5, latest version.

Are you using the latest official release of Feedback, version 05.00.02 ? I recall that the prior release 04.04.03 did have that issue in some situations.

In the Module settings, under the section "Moderation and Feedback Management Settings", what how is "Scope" set? Instance or Portal? If the comment that you are trying to delete is associated with a different Feedback module on the site and Scope is set to "Instance", you will not be able to delete a comment from a Feedback module other than the one with which the comment is associated. If Scope is set to "Portal", you should be able to delete comments associated with any Feedback module on the site.

When you do click "Delete" does a confirmation box pop up asking if you want to delete the comment?

I am having the same issue with version 4.4.3. Unfortunately the version of the feedback module that was used to create the test posts was deleted, so there's no way to moderate the posts from their origin. I tried looking for the "Moderation and Feedback Management Settings" but didn't see that anywhere. I didn't any mention of "Scope" anywhere either. Clicking "Delete" does give me the pop-up confirmation. Looks like I'll try upgrading the module so I can hopefully remove these comments ASAP.

I found a way around upgrading... I simply renamed and deactivated the category I was testing with. I then created a new category with the exact same settings and the name I wanted. I updated the modules to use this new category and I'm ready to go live! :)

Justin - I'm glad that you were able to work around that issue. As for not finding a Feedback Moderation and Management section or a Scope setting on the module settings page, those were added in version 5.00.02 of Feedback along with many other enhancements and bug fixes. The 4.03.03 version did have an issue with deleting feedback comments generated in other instances of the module on a site as well as problems showing comments on the moderation page if the category was not being moderated. As 4.03.03 also suffered from several security related issues I would recommend that you upgrade Feedback to 5.00.02 provided that your DotNetNuke version is 5.02.03 or later.
