Renato,

Your solution does indeed open and keep the tooltip open and, I can click on a link in the tooltip; however:

the tooltip does not close when I move my mouse our of it unless I click on a another area of the page.

How can I get it to close when the mouse moves off the tooltip?

If I click the x in the tooltip's right top corner, I get a 404

Is there a setting I am missing?

Hi Robert

Yes, I know that tooltip doesn't close automatically if you move off. I couldn't figure out how to do that in the existing script.
The 404 error is because of an incorrect command line (my mistake). Here is the correct one:

dvHdr.innerHTML=CBE.boHDR+'  <a href=" void(0);" title="close" onclick="fadeOut();"><img src="/images/delete.gif" alt="close" /></a>';

The href-argument was wrong. The closing function should now work like that.

Ok, it seems that the word java***script is filtered out here....

REMOVE the ***
