First of all, Happy New Year!

I've finally integrated a Jquery photo slide in a ContentPane by simply adding the <script> inside HTML Module on my DNN V5.6 HomePage.
It works perfectly except the slide only appears when it's in the Edit and Layout Mode.
Funny thing is that it was working fine until last night..  Was it my dream?? ^^

jquery is loaded only when requested either by dotnetnuke or a module - it's not added by default as that would be an unnecessary load on pages. When in edit/layout mode dotnetnuke add's jquery as it's necessary, but it's not needed by default in view mode. Typically a module will make a framework.jquery.requestregistration call to indicate that it needs it (see http://www.willstrohl.com/Blog/EntryId/382/jQuery-Tips-for-DotNetNuke-Developers ), but you can also simply add the script request in your skin, or enable skin widgets to force jquery to be added. Another way that people use is to add the script request in the header or footer of the html module.

no problem, I've added a few quick jQuery related pages to the wiki - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/tabid/1409/loc/allpages/Cat/jQuery/Default.aspx , we'll flesh these out over time so hopefully it'll be easier to find answers to questions such as this.
