I see that User Profile now has settings for each field: "Visibility:PublicMembers OnlyAdmin Only"

These imply to me that there is a related module that would display a list of users/members, and allow public or members to view other users profiles.

However, I have not found it.

I assumed that putting the user module on a page, with view permissions to, say, registered users or another role, would allow them to see the user list, however it is still only visible to admins.

Is there a core DNN module that I have missed that does this?
Is there a setting I have missed?
If I have misunderstood, then how are the User Profile's Visiblity settings meant to be used?

Thanks.

You can link directly to a users profile with the URL control.  Drop a Links module on a page and then link to the Users name.  there is no listing of all members though.
