Hi,

I want to change registration so that any registrant can use an email address as the username rather than having both a username and an email address. This of course means that the email address / username must be unique and should be enforced upon registration.

I have searched and I know this question was asked a while back in this thread

http://local.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/795...

but I wonder if anything has changed in the 3 years or so that the question was posed. I don't mind implementing the solution as outlined in this thread but don't want to do this work if it is unnecessary.

Cheers,

Enda

Out of the box there is not a configuration for this, but third party modules such as Dynamic Registration can allow you to do this easily.
