Hi all

Here's today's little bit of grief. :) (I *will* stagger slowly up the learning curve, I promise)

I'll explain this in baby terms, just to find out which bit of the direction I've got wrong. I wanted to add an extra field to the Register page - the page that appears when I click 'Register'. 23 tutorials later, I *thought* I had got the hang of things. I go to Admin, User Accounts, Manage Profile Properties.
Then I click Add New Property and fill in the details, making sure it's 'required' and 'visible'. I go back to the list and it's there, right at the top. Wow! thinks I.

Yes, until I log out and click on Register, when there's no sign of it. Am I expecting it in the wrong place? Should it appear elsewhere? I've followed examples in the tutorials, and it's exactly the same - no sign.

Sorry to be a pain with my daily questions. I realise they are fairly dumb things but I'm from Delphiland so you'll have to excuse me trying to get used to all this good stuff. :)

Many thanks

Ian

There are options to require "valid profile for registration" under user settings.  Otherwise, registration  by default shows a shortened list.
