I would like to create a new copy of our website and modify it for mobile devices.
The existing site has too many unwanted pages and too much content on some of the pages (so need trimming down).

One way around this could be to duplicate the pages which need trimming down and redirect mobile browsers on these pages (but navigation would obviously have to be exaactly the same).

OR

Duplicate the existing DNN installation and then remove the unwanted pages altogether (and create a new navigation without these 'non-required' pages).

If I choose the 2nd option, what would the best way of going about it?

Would it be best to use a separate database,
and completey new installation (maybe on a different server)
Or could I just create a new portal (and still have the ability to duplicate the existing site and modify the portal.aspx page - changing the page dimensions etc?

thanks,
mark.
