I think another forum has the same responses you are giving me. The strange thing is that I've tried it in another site version 5.6 and it works even without SMTP settings. The site that I'm having trouble with was version 5.4 upgraded to 5.6. So I don't know if there is something affecting the module here. They have the exact same settings so it's really strange. It seems that the sites I have implemented the Form and List modules are live sites. I was informed by my co workers that once the current site we are developing gets migrated over into production that the Module should work with respect to emails. If you tried yours on a published site then I'm not sure about the outcome of the one I'm trying to get to work. I will inform you when that approach has been taken as to the results.
