Hi Sebastian,

I am having an issue with the multi-language website www.better-regulation.org.cy. The site is using the English and Greek language. Now when I am using the Greek version the labels on the backend are not displayed in the Telerik editor. I cannot even view the Design, HTML, Preview tabs at the bottom of the editor. Now when I switch to the English version, I can see that.

I believe one solution is make the english Language the default language for the backend so that when I am access the Greek pages, the backend language is still English. Is there a way to do this?

If not is there anything else I can do to fix this issue?

Thanks
Paris

Hi Paris,
this bug has already been reported, did you try inproved module from radeditor.codeplex.com. The editor selector also allows you switching to FCKeditor provider.

Hi Sebastian, No I have not tried the improved version of the module. So just to confirm 2 things I should try are: 1. Download dnnWerk RadEditor Provider 01.01.04 from radeditor.codeplex.com and install this and see if it resolves the issue 2. Install the latest version of FCKeditor. In general our of the 2 editors which one is considered the best?

there are currently 5 HTMLEditor providers, i know of:
  1. Core RadEditor provider with known limitations (bundled with DotNetNuke and enabled by default)
  2. Improved dnnWerk Radeditor Provider (download from radeditor.codeplex.com)
  3. FCKEditor Provider 2.0.3 containing FCKEditor 2.6.3 (bundled with DotNetNuke)
  4. WatchersNet CKEditorProvider 1.12.06, containing CKEditor 3.5 (download from dnnckeditor.codeplex, com)
  5. CuteEditor (http://cutesoft.net/ASP.NET+WYSIWYG+E...)
dnnWerk RadEditor comes with a host module to switch between installed editor easily.

Which one ot use is a case of your preference - (F)CK editor does provide most customization options.

Hi Sebastian, I solved the issue. I switch the default editor to FCKEditor and now I can see the names of the tabs. I simply updated the web.config file and modified the line: to Thanks Paris
