Hi,

I'm facing a weird situation here. My client is using Mac Pro to access DNN. In his office, they have 2 different broadband providers. When he is using Broadband 1 to access DNN, it's no problem for him to run dopostback. (Login, register or AddtoCart button)

If he use Broadband 2, it's totally cannot run the dopostback.

Both broadband are wireless situation. I've tried their Broadband 2 wireless with my Windows 7 Pro, it's no problem. May i know what cause this situation happen?

My Client website: http://www.esmart.com.my. He totally cannot go to login page when he click Log In button at top.

It's urgent, Please help.

Thank You

Thanks,
George

Simple solution - don't use a mac.  Sorry ,,, had to go there.

But having said that - and not actually having their systems to look at - the most likely fault with be a firewall or proxy or web security issue.

Some wireless broadband providers use proxy servers "to improve performance" which is an dubious concept. I would have a look at the security settings that each dongle is utilizing ... in particular if they are remapping port 80 to port 8080 in a proxy setup.

What is most likely happening is that the dongle that is NOT working - is doing some sort of weird proxy mapping - which wont be happening with the other system ... basically the broken one is not doing its setup properly on a mac platform.

Hi Westa,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

In my client office, one of the Windows XP also cannot run the javascript dopostback under Broadband 1. I think it's not the issue from mac.

Thanks,
George

Thanks,
George

I've found that the javascript issue works for some IP and not others from the same provider. May i know anyone facing this issue before?

Thanks,
George
