Hi,

I have a site im buiding and and a couple of forms I've added using the html module.
My question is - can I call a php/asp mail script to send an email from those forms? I just need a simple way to do it quickly - I have been searching for a way for hours now so it would be great to know what the easiest solution is.

Cheers

You can use the IFrame module to add and external php, asp, html, etc. page to your DNN site.  You create the page in whatever tech you want (php/asp) then add the IFrame module and finally add the URL to the page you created into the IFrame module.  Optionally there are some very inexpensive form creator module (I use Form Creator by DNN-Modules for creating custom forms that uses can enter data and email to me).  Hope this helps.

You cant add forms with the HTML module because ASP.Net is one big Form.  Use the Forms and Lists module its very flexible.

Thanks for your responses - not had any real success with iframe looks as though I'll need to build it into a module - because of the design requirements of this site I have had no luck getting any other modules to look like this http://www.nokturnlevents.com/contact... - If I could i would definately use them - would anyone be intersted in guiding me through the module development?
I have the compiled  module template installed in VS 2008
Cheers

Maybe you could start with a good tutorial for a "quick win". Starting from there it is a little bit easier to design your own ideas....

You can find a pretty good step by step tutorial at Johans Site here

Cheers
