I did post about this before in thread 376986, but having got a suggestions, which sadly didn't help, the thread fizzled out, so I thought I'd better post again.

I use Google Chrome as my main browser, although of course I also have IE8, Firefox & Safari installed. I do all my browsing in Chrome, & wish to use it to manage my DotNetNuke sites, but I can only do so much with it as none of the admin menus appear in Chrome (or Safari, for that matter).

They appear fine in IE8 & Firefox, but not in Chrome of Safari. Of course, you can still edit the text & usually the settings, as most modules display links for these, but the admin menu isn't there, & some modules have extra functionality on the admin menu.

I spent so long looking at the Blog/Categories module trying to work out how to edit the categories, before I fired up Firefox and saw the Edit Categories item on the admin menu!

Someone suggested before that it was because I was using the RibbonBar, & that if I reverted to the IconBar it would all work fine - it didn't.

Do all other Chrome & Safari users have the same issue?

I prefer Firefox myself but have both Chrome and Safari installed to check sites look OK for people using those browsers. I logged in as Host in both browsers and could see and use both the Host and Admin menus. Sorry, I don't know what the problem is but at least you know they should work in Chrome and Safari.

Sorry, just realised you're talking about module admin menus! Again I can see these as well. Hope this isn't a stupid question but are you sure you are in Edit mode? You don't see the menus in View mode.

No, not a stupid question - I fired up Firefox the other day in order to use a module admin menu, & wondered where they were, then realised I was in View mode! But yes, for me, in Edit mode, no modules display the little triangle which displays the module's admin menu. Compare & contrast: http://www.EastbourneIT.com/Images/DNN-SearchSiteModule-EditMode-Chrome-NoAdminMenu.jpg http://www.EastbourneIT.com/Images/DNN-SearchSiteModule-EditMode-Firefox-AdminMenu.jpg I find this extremely frustrating, as I love Google Chrome, & like you, only have other browsers installed so I can check what websites look like in them, & it's really annoying having to use Firefox or worse, Internet Explorer! Does anyone else have the same issue?

this is not by default, but there might be a skin issue using special css. either fix your skin or use advanced menu from dnnmoduleactions.codeplex.com
