Hi:

I'm having an issue performing the upgrade to the latest dnn build.  Usually these upgrades go smoothly but this one is failing on just about every installation I've tried.  After copying the upgrade files, when I navigate to the site to start the installation, I get the following error:

HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

The requested url is listed as follows:  http://www.mydomainname:80/error.html...

The handler is listed as : Statis File.
Error code: 0x80070002

I've noticed other upgrade issues in this forum but none that references something like this.  Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

I just completed the upgrade and ran into an error with a change to the Chat module. I don't remember the symptoms now but I'm wondering if this could be the problem you are hitting. Try searching for "DnnChatCodeHelper" The fix was in D:\vhost\wwwroot\httpdocs\dnn\App_Code\Chat\DnnChatCodeHelper.vb LIne 309: Dim ctx As System.Web.HttpContext = System.Web.HttpContext.Current ' updated 08feb2011/wbp add System William
