I've installed DNN 5.6.1 using VS 2010 Express and I'm receiving the error "A potentially dangerous request.querystring value was detected from the client" when I try to create a new tab. The <httpRuntime requestValidationMode="2.0" /> is set properly. So is validateRequest="false". Your help is appreciated.

are you using a virtual directory/subdirectory? If so it will pick up any settings from the root site web.config, including if that site has requestValidation enabled.
