Which one? there is none included by default, maybe it is part of a skin you obtained from 3rd party?

I, too, have the same question.  I am using a skin pack, from dotnetnukeskins.com, that I've uploaded successfully.  This skin pack comes with a customizable flash banner via XML editing.  I have the instructions for editing the XML and have done so - but of course i have it locally.

My question is how/where do i go to upload this edited XML file?  The instruction with the skin pack say that the file, FlashBanner.XML is located in the DNN skin folder but where is that folder and how do i get to it?

I'm using Host > File Manager but cannot find this XML file in any directory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Skin files are not visible from the DNN Filemanager.
You need to access these files at the system level using something like ftp.

This is the path to the skins area inside the website folders.

{WebsiteRoot} \Portals\_default\Skin\ {YourSkinName}

Cheers

Westa

Thank you very much! That worked. I found the XML file I need to modify and have uploaded it to the proper directory according to my skin instructions.

Next question though: How do i clear the DNN portal cache? Thats required now that i've modified the flash.xml.
Thanks!
