I am a NEWBIE to DNN I am looking for a developer to spend a few hours with me doing a small custom module project which I want to do for a sports body. I will need to talk to them on Skype (Username: FailSafe) and with the help of AMMYY do Remote Training. If anybody you can recommend someone to me I would appreciate it. I can pay for a few hours of training and would like to connect with someone who can impart the neccessary skills that I need to get started.

I use the following technologies...

Hey Brian,

Not sure how much could be imparted in a couple of hours that would not be better served by reading one of the dnn module development guides. wrok has a couple that are good - check out the book by michael washington.

Also, the DNN video training is very good. They have a couple of free Basic classes on video.

But, if you want to get more in depth training, they offer a developer training class. Chris Hammond teaches the class and does a great job of getting you started.

Suggesting Training in the USA is not helpful seeing that I live in South Africa and have an urgent project to get out. I need a HUMAN who can help me with the first phase. Most of the links that I Googled ended up being for C# and VS2008 - I need VS2010 and VB.NET for DotNetNuke for DUMMIES!
