Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could advise me the correct way to set my logo image to automaticaly be set to the whole width of the logo area?

I am using a .jpg which is 1050 x 113 pixels and it leaves a large white area where it finishes. I am using the Default Gray Skin

Sorry if this is a simple task, I have no web design experience

#DNN_Logo{

}
To the stylesheet could help you

Hi Thanks for the reponse.

did you mean use that in teh stylesheet?

#DNN_Logo{
padding:0px;
}

I have added this to the stylesheet using admin, Site Settings. Was this what you meant? as it did not do anything.

Sorry if it's not I am a bit lost here.  do i add this to another stylesheet? or is the one in Admin, Site settings the only one?

Thanks

daryl

Can I just ask - are you using the default gray - 100% width skin or fixed width skin?

You can use this in any stylesheet used for the page, but I guess the one you mention is the easiest to edit.

If you choose "Common Tasks > Site Stylesheet Editor" (logged in as Admin)  you are in fact editing the portal.css stylesheet, which is the last stylesheet loaded.

General load order of the stylesheets:
    default.css - General stylesheet for the DNN installation
    skin.css - Stylesheet for the skin you selected
    container.css - Stylesheet for the container you selected
    portal.css - Stylesheet for the current portal

So anything you define in the postal.css will overwrite the settings in the other stylesheets.

But I think if you have to make a lot of changes in portal.css it's better to create a new skin.
