Ok, community, I asked several questions these past two weeks, and now I'm going to ask for suggestions. I have a project that requires the following five languages: English, French, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Arabic.

The site must process payments for classes that students sign up for, and in addition must have general content in multiple languages.

What approach would YOU use to localizing such a portal? EALO? Core? Apollo?

I've gotten some great tips from Sebastian, which have helped me gather information. For this scale of project, what would your approach be?

Chad, it is not only the number of languages, which is relevant, but also the number of pages in total and the amount of content, which gets translated (all pages, most pages, some pages or even just the home page?). What type of content do you have (static HTML, News, products catalog, ...)

There would be a home page for each language, then a catalog/shopping cart for each language for the courses students in these five countries would be taking. Another section of the site, which may or may not be translated, would be like News or Announcements, with most things probably being static HTML.

Total number of pages between 15 and 30... That would be including the translations... so 3-6 pages, each in 5 languages.

no cost solution: EALO, low cost with improved page menagemet UI: Apollo. Marc is currently trying to update DSLocalizator, I haven't had a look at it for some time. I prefer ML modules from Apollo or dnnWerk (Nuntio Content, Articles, Links). The only ML shop I know of is Catalook.
